Where the books' lines and the real numbers disagree.
GapOdds puts every player prop line next to what that player actually does and our projection for this game. The difference is the gap. The Gap Report shows you every one, for the NFL, College Football, the NBA and UFC, and the Bounty Board grades every pick we post, wins and losses, so you can check the record before you trust it.
A sportsbook's prop line is a price, not a prediction. It's set to split the betting, and it moves with the money. The player doesn't care what the line is: he does what his role, the defense and the game let him do.
GapOdds was built to look at the line next to the real numbers, instead of guessing or following someone's picks. Every player gets a projection for this game from his own history, the defense he's facing, injuries around him and the game's conditions. When that number and the line are far enough apart, that's a gap worth a look. Then every pick is graded in public, so the work speaks for itself.
๐ฏ The Gap25: start here every week
Open the Gap Report, pick your sport (๐ NFL, ๐๏ธ College Football, ๐ NBA or ๐ฅ UFC) and it opens on the Gap25: our 25 strongest props for the week.
What gets a prop on it:Strong confidence, starters only (backups and Doubtful players stay off), one prop per player, and the main stats. Touchdown and interception props live on Special Gaps instead.
The order: closest to the line first. A projection that sits near the line has held up better than a wild disagreement, so the top of the list is the steadiest.
When it changes: lines and the injury report refresh every morning and again before kickoff. A player ruled out drops off and the next one moves up. Once a game starts, its props drop off and the next ones move up.
How much you see: guests see picks #5, #8 and #12, free members picks #5, #8, #12, #15 and #18, and Gaps members all 25.
How it's graded: every Gap25 is saved before kickoff and graded on the Bounty Board, every week, wins and losses.

โ Make picks and build your record
Over / Under on a card (O / U in a table; Scores / No TD on touchdown props): tap a side to pick it, tap it again to remove it, tap the other side to switch.
Your record: every pick is saved, locks at kickoff and is graded against the box score. Your record shows on the Bounty Board (๐ The Posse shows your picks on the Gap Report).
How many: up to 20 a week for the NFL and College Football and 35 for the NBA, counted per sport (the counter at the top shows how many you've used). Make at least 8 graded picks in a week to count for that week's awards and standings.
+ is different: it adds the prop to your ๐งฎ Slip to build a parlay, it doesn't make a pick.
Free members pick on the Gap25 props they can see; Gaps members can pick any prop.
โ Pick a player's other props
Multiple lines (the box at the top of the Gap25): turn it on and each player's other qualifying props show as their own cards under his, marked โโ Also qualifiesโ, each with Over / Under and +.
View all his props inside Player details: every prop he has a line for this week, each with its own buttons.
๐ Every Gap with All stats: every stat is its own row with O / U.
๐งฎ Build a Slip
The Slip is a parlay builder. It shows how a set of picks stacks up together before you play them anywhere.
Tap + on any card or row (it turns to โ). You can mix sports. Or open ๐งฎ Slip under Filters and use Add a pick to search a player and type your app's line.
Open ๐งฎ Slip: each leg shows our projection, gap and confidence. Legs from the same game are flagged, because they tend to move together.
Choose Power (every leg must hit) or Flex (pays by how many hit, 3 to 8 picks). The tiles show the combined gap, what Flex pays and the GapPoints payout.
Tap Save to keep it and track it (2 to 8 picks; every game must not have started).
๐ Parlays and GapPoints
Ranked parlays count for GapPoints: 7 a week across every sport. The count resets every Tuesday at 12:00 AM ET, and the Slip shows how many you have left. Choose ๐ Ranked before you save.
A ranked parlay is locked the moment you save it: no edits, no deleting. Parlays are separate from your picks: they never count toward your weekly pick limit.
Unranked parlays are unlimited, but they earn no GapPoints and don't add to your picks. Saved parlays can't be deleted.
Points: a ranked parlay that hits earns its odds as points (a +596 parlay = 596). Power pays only when every leg hits; Flex pays by how many hit. Misses earn 0, and points are never taken away.
Where they show: your member page, the Bounty Board and the GapPoints leaderboard on Members. For bragging rights only: no cash value.
Every saved parlay is graded leg by leg on Parlays.
