What's new on GapOdds this week

📱 FIRST: ADD GAPODDS AS AN APP
Put GapOdds on your home screen and it opens like an app, full screen, one tap away. It also lets you get alerts when the day's Gap25 is locked in.

iPhone / iPad (use Safari):
1. Go to gapodds.com in Safari.
2. Tap the Share button (the square with the arrow pointing up).
3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen," then tap Add.
4. Open GapOdds from the new icon on your home screen.

Android (use Chrome):
1. Go to gapodds.com in Chrome.
2. Tap the ⋮ menu in the top right.
3. Tap "Add to Home screen" or "Install app," then tap Install / Add.
4. Open GapOdds from the new icon.

Turn on alerts: open GapOdds from the home-screen icon and sign in. Tap Allow on the alerts pop-up, or go to Account → App alerts. On iPhone, alerts only work from the home-screen icon, not from a Safari tab.

🎨 A NEW LOOK
• New menu bar: every section is a tab at the top, and your team badge and screen name sit on the right.
• New home page: The Receipts now rotates through every sport's record, so you can see how our picks are doing at a glance.
• Bounty Board, rebuilt: pick your sport, then the list. A new chart shows how our Strong Confidence picks hit against the 52.4% Vegas Edge, with the record right next to it.
• Cleaner cards on Usage, Riding Hot and the Slip, plus a new 🚑 Injuries tab and an NBA view on the Watch List.
• Need help on a page? Tap the teal ? in the bottom right.

🟢 CONFIDENCE
Every NFL, College Football and NBA prop now gets a Confidence rating: Low, Strong or High. It's our read on which gaps are most likely to hit, and the Gap25 is now ranked by it. Look for the green bars on the Gap Report.

🎯 SPECIAL GAPS
Anytime TDs, Passing TDs and Interceptions now show our projection against what the price needs, so you can spot the real value.

🧮 SLIP AND PARLAYS
• Build your slip from any Gap Report with the floating 🧮 Slip button. Each pick shows our call, the gap and its Confidence.
• The Parlays page has Active and Completed tabs and GapPoints standings. You get 7 ranked parlays a week.

🏈 FANTASY
NFL player pages now have a Week Fantasy Outlook: PPR and ½ PPR projections, position rank, and a Start / Lean / Sit call.

NBA (still in BETA, use for statistical review for the first week)
- New combo props: PTS+REB, PTS+AST and REB+AST are now on the NBA Gap Report, with projections, gaps and Likely %.
- Smarter projections: we now project each player's minutes and factor in blowout risk, when starters sit late in lopsided games. In our back-test of the last four seasons, projections got more accurate for every stat.
- Fresher lines: NBA lines now refresh just before each game tips, not just once before the first game of the night.

Watch List
- New 🧭 Scheme tab with two views. Team Changes shows offenses and defenses whose play-calling shifted over their last 3 games (more motion, more blitzing, a new tempo). Matchup Fit shows this week's games where the scheme works for or against a team: blitz-heavy defenses, stacked boxes, play-action, pass and run funnels.
- Fantasy Pro notes: The Outlaw, The Pirate and The Referee can now leave quick takes on Watch List cards: injuries, role changes, line moves and matchups.

Team Details (Research → Team Details)
- New pages for NFL, College Football and NBA: every defense on its own card, ranked against the pass and the run, or switch to Position to see how it ranks against QBs, RBs, WRs and TEs (guards, forwards and centers for NBA).
- Tap an opponent's name on the Gap Report or a player page to jump straight to that team's card.

Start 'Em / Sit 'Em
- Players who are Questionable, Doubtful, Out, or missed their latest practice no longer show up as a Start or Lean. They're marked 🚑 so you know why, and they move back once they're cleared.

Everywhere
- Player cards are now the default layout on every list, on phone and computer. Prefer the table? Tap Table and we'll remember it.
- The Research menu is reorganized: Player Details and Team Details, each with every sport underneath.

Founders
-For all the current members and ones to come while we continue to develop, you will be founding members. If you subscribe your rate will be locked in for as long as you are subscribed, all pages, all packages, all access. Future additions once the founding member deal is off may be in an increase. But lock this rate in today.

The Gap25 is no longer just the 25 biggest gaps. It's the 25 picks most likely to cash: similar list, sharper edge. It reloads as games kick off, so every pick on it is still live. We're also snapshotting the lines every day, and starting next week you'll see when the books blink, how the lines move, and what it does to the Gap25.

🚦 Likely %, color-coded. No more squinting.
🟢 Likely: 60%+. Fire away.
🟡 Lean: 52.4% to 59%. Proceed with swagger, not recklessness.
🔴 Pass: under 52.4%. Leave it for the adrenaline junkies.

💰 EV is back in the holster (for now)
We thought we had the quickdraw on this one. It’s still great info, but we’re taking it back to the saloon to hash it out before it rides again.

🏈 Special Gaps: the specialty plays get their own room
Anytime TDs, passing TDs and interceptions are out of the general population and in their own category. Anytime TDs are graded on one thing: how our chance stacks up against the sportsbook's.

📊 All Gaps is dead. Long live Open Range.
Open Range covers every other prop. No double-dipping: nothing shows up in two lists. Everything runs in one order: Gap25 → Special Gaps → Open Range.

🩹 Smarter injury adjustments
When a starter is out or doubtful, the guys picking up his work get their projections adjusted, in the NFL, NBA and College. And when a key defender is sitting, you'll see it right on the matchup. Small adjustments like these can be the difference in your Gap25 edge.

🦓 A new sheriff calls the plays: The Referee
Our third Fantasy Pro now rides as The Referee. Follow their picks from the Fantasy Pros menu.

Smarter starters
Starters now match how each team lines up. The WR3 or TE2 starts depending on who plays more snaps, and an RB2 counts as a starter in a true committee backfield.
Injuries are handled automatically: Out, Doubtful and IR players drop, and the next man up starts.
The Gap25 is starters only.

Riding Hot & Usage
Same new layout as the Gap Report: Sport first, Filters, Table/Cards.
Usage cards: tap for a bar chart. NFL shows snap % by week, College shows share by week, and NBA shows minutes for the last 10 games or the season.

Player Props pages
New free Player Props pages for NFL, College, NBA and UFC. They list every prop line this week, plus our top 5 gaps. These are so GapOdds is index to be searchable on search engines.

UFC
Same Gap Report layout as the other sports, with Overs/Unders and Filters.

Under the hood
Trade Finder results are now protected for subscribers.
A tidier phone header.
The new GapOdds logo as your home-screen icon. To get it, remove the old icon and add the site again from Safari.

NFL
• Gap Sheet now uses each player's season median instead of average, so one big game doesn't skew the numbers.
• New Likely % column after every Gap: the gap, how often he's cleared the line (season and last 5), and how consistent he is.
• The free Player Props page is now 10 Likely Props.
• New run/pass chips on the sheet, and two new columns on Defense vs Position: opponents' pass % and plays per game.
• Results now tracks a Likely Props record.
• Start/Sit voting was fixed (votes now save instantly).

College Football (new)
• Power 4 Gap Sheet in the same format as the NFL one, with defense ranks out of 68. It has The Gap 10, Outlaw Picks, Members' Top 10 and member picks, which are counted separately from NFL.
• Free Research pages: Player Props (10 Biggest Gaps), Player Pages and Defense vs Position.
• Streaks, Results and % of Plays.
• Lines pull Thursday and Friday. Bowl and playoff lines pull on game day.

NBA (new)

Gap fans - I know these updates are coming daily but your feedback is being put to use! Plus it is spurning other ideas. The original goal of GapOdds was to provide realistic projections that we could utilize to gain statistical advantage for fantasy sports. The tools we have listed give you that edge. Here are the updates that will be posted by morning:

• [ ] Members Weekly Awards. Now this is where it gets real. Earn your badges that stay on your profile and lets you be ranked and roasted. Get your picks in unless you are scared of being roasted.
• [ ] You can turn Members tracking off I your profile
• [ ] Updated projections based on historical data for:
• [ ] RB, WR, TE will have a reduction in production when a backup QB is starting. Larger reduction for elite or top 12 QB’s.
• [ ] RB will have a reduction in rushing, mainly rushing TD’s for backup lineman playing
• [ ] Links updates:
• [ ] There is now a home button listed on the top of each page
• [ ] A small header will remain at the top of the screen when scrolling down, once you scroll up the menu will expand
• [ ] Where a players name is listed for stat projections, you will be able to click their name for their stats page and projections. Really cool when researching players. Can you geek out on it?
• [ ] After clicking on the player info, when you go back to your previous sheet, you will return to the info that you were researching.
• [ ] On the Gap Sheet, you can view your pick selections where you would select to view another members picks. Your picks will be the first listed. This way you don’t get roasted for having bad picks or have to search through all the picks to find your bad pick. At GapOdds, we don’t want excuses why your pick was bad
• [ ] Links pages now gives links to The Outlaws Picks X handle and TikTok along with links for signup for Sleeper, Underdog and Prize Picks. Don’t forget the Responsible Gaming info listed below. Know your limits and NEVER bet emotionally. Those are not statistical advantages.
• [ ] The Defense vs Positions page now has a game selector so you can view and understand what the script of the game may be
• [ ] QB rushing is NOW an option for projections on The Gap Sheet
• [ ] There is a new page, with a new page is just more cool stuff. Start’em/Sit’em page. Load your fantasy league to see where your players rank. Your players will have a star next to their names and you can vote if you agree with the algorithm of projections. Very similar to the ranking of Members Picks but for starting to sitting.
• [ ] Fanduel is NOW ACTIVE. You have no reason why your Fanduel roster is trash now. Each week I will upload a csv file of the Fanduel roster so you can set your lineup optimally.

Alright Gap members, the largest update is coming tonight. By tomorrow morning you will have even more Gap coverage and abilities that you can't get anywhere else. Get ready this is game changing. Below are the highlights:
*Draftkings Optimizer: updated to showcase better projections, more options on how to build rosters, ability to build multiple rosters for tournaments, ability to utilize stacks and option to select how many players you want for the stack and bring back, punt evaluations automated to utilize higher priced players, percentage option of the number of players used in building multiple tournament lineups, option to include or exclude certain players and then a rebuild button with your selections, option to import csv from draftkings for roster build, and option to build showdown rosters. These updates makes this optimizer state of the art!
*I am adding a Members page that you can select members to follow. If you follow them, then you are able to view their picks of the week and then you can go to the results page and review their results.
*Speaking of results, that page is getting revamped. Get ready for pure analysis of projections. You will have the option to view Outlaws Picks, The Gap 10, Members Picks, Members you follow and then all Gap Options. each one will continue to showcase the record by week but it will also showcase what type of picks they choose and their win/loss by pick.
*The Gap Sheet is moving to a subcategory under THE GAP under the menu button. There will also be a link for the results under THE GAP and the Streaks page will be under this category as well.
*With the Gap Sheet moving a welcome page will be there to welcome you to the page and give a little insight to what the gap is and how to use it. Mainly for new subscribers
*As a member, you have 16 votes for member picks each week. USE THEM! This is fun for the app and showcases your talent as a Gap picker.
*Under Fantasy Football, I am adding a Contact a Fantasy Pro. I am linking this to an email that a Fantasy Pro can respond to. I have a few ideas on who may get an invite to be a pro. Dont worry, if you dont get the first invite, I may have a future update on how to include you if your picks are good....

What's in it

Better projections

Usage-based: expected targets/carries × efficiency, with a 2-game half-life (100% / 71% / 50% / 35% / 25%) blended 70% recent and 30% season. Games a player left injured are ignored.
Snap share from nflverse. Starters are chosen by recent usage.
Game script: each game's spread and total adjust pass volume, run volume and TD expectations, shown with a 📊 chip.

Top 10 Auto Pick rules

One spot per player (his best gap).
📉 Role down and Doubtful are left out. 📈 Role up stays in.
Questionable projections are cut by Friday practice: full −10%, limited −25%, none −50%.

Results Page

A season selector, including All seasons for an all-time record.
History is now saved by season and week, so next year never overwrites this year, and this season's existing weeks are kept automatically.
🧾 Your picks: each member's own votes, graded on their side and line, visible only to them.
Every graded week stays available. All weeks shows the season total for every section.

* Added Yahoo and ESPN leagues to Matchup Optimizer. If you are in multiple leagues then you can add the multiple leagues to look at all of your leagues without removing each one and adding another. Sorted by league name.
* Added login to stay logged in for 8 days, if not regularly accessing the web app
* The Gap Sheet now adds the function to sort by game slate
* Trending Player sheet now auto sorts to Fantasy Points/Game and now there is details about what each players total fantasy projections are for the remainder of the season.
* Added a Streaks page to showcase what the streaks are and how long. The variance for the streaks is to be within 10% of the current Vegas odds line and will display how many games they have maintained this streak. This page is to use Alt lines in parlays.
